Alcharmy is operated by Arthur Kordas ("we", "us"), who is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

• Account data — name, email address, and login credentials. Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Content you provide — chat messages, prompts, and code you run in the Service. Used to provide the Service and save your session history. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Support messages — if you contact us, we keep the correspondence to respond and improve support. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data — usage/telemetry data, device identifiers, and IP address. Used for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment data (card details, billing address, tax information) is collected and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record when you purchase a subscription; we do not store your card details.

• Service providers and subprocessors (hosting, analytics, and support tooling);
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing;
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
• Authorities where required by law.

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. You can delete your account at any time — in the app, or at alcharmy.site/delete-account. Deletion immediately removes your login, chat sessions and messages, memory records, notes and uploaded files. Payment and invoice records held by Paddle are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, or erase your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent; and complain to a supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can access personal data.

We use essential cookies required for sign-in and operating the Service. We do not use marketing cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in.
